Corso Systems worked alongside the customer to quickly design, deploy, and commission an affective HVAC management system with Opto 22 groov RIO hardware to ensure an air compressor room stayed cool enough to keep production running without interruption in any season.
Corso Systems worked with the leading USA-based company driving MOE steel production. We helped develop a SCADA system to control, monitor, and their operate MOE processes—from a bench-top scale proof of concept cell to a scalable production cell capable of meeting any size demand.
Corso Systems integrated an industry-leading semiconductor’s MongoDB database solution with their SCADA platform, Ignition by creating a connection to the instance and building out the scripting engine to handle the data interaction. The customer now has access to all of their data with no information silos across their production lines.
Corso Systems helped update a process to an automated CNC cell with a Fanuc robotic arm tending three CNC machines. This dramatically increased overall throughput while greatly reducing operator intervention. With data collected by Ignition, process engineers continued to increase throughput after installation.

Corso Systems improved Thermastor’s firmware flashing process, saving them tens of thousands in maintenance work. By replicating the functionality of their old VB.NET application and moving the process to Ignition, we were able to add additional functionality including track and trace.
With Ignition and the Sepasoft OEE and Scheduling Module, Corso Systems helped True Temper Sports greatly reduce their downtime and production slowdowns. Identifying the downtime reasons as a need for additional routine maintenance and operator training resolved the issues and led to further increases in overall productivity.

Corso Systems helped increase production by 14% with no additional equipment or personnel changes by implementing OEE on a Tanis Gummy Candy Machine line.
Corso Systems converted multiple Magnaflux machines running Aveva Edge / Indusoft to Ignition on OnLogic Panel PCs with touchscreens, and Allen Bradley Micrologix 800 series PLCs. During the conversion, we simplified the project with UDTs and strategic scripting improvements. The customer now has a fully integrated set of quality control test equipment.
Corso Systems integrated all of Blommer Chocolate’s manufacturing systems into a single Ignition application—thus facilitating Blommer Chocolate's digital transformation. Blommer how has a fully integrated information flow since we upgraded their process to implement modern PLCs and HMI clients across the plant. Customer service can now manage orders in real-time.
Corso Systems worked with Champion Pet Foods to implement an OEE and MES System for their Alberta Canada facility. The system included recipe management, downtime tracking, production scheduling, and OEE dashboards. In addition scrap/waste counts were updated from Champion's ERP System after QA/QC samples were taken and analyzed, providing detailed view of their OEE.
Corso Systems implemented an operations management system for AGVs at a pharmaceutical company. The system was designed to schedule AGV pick and place operations for raw materials on various production lines. This included integration with the ASRS system, a full digital twin simulation integration, and extensive testing and data validation.
Corso Systems converted an OSIPI Process Historian containing 1.8 million tags to a Canary Labs Historian. The conversion lowered the cost of ownership for the data by implementing significant reductions in storage space, bandwidth, and overall throughput.
Corso Systems created a custom native mobile app to combine with Ignition SCADA, MQTT, and Opto22 groov EPIC PLCs. This enabled mobile notifications beyond the functionality of Ignition's own mobile app. This technology stack enabled rapid prototyping and deployment to meet the customer's strict deadline.
Corso Systems and Blommer Chocolate teamed up for a third project: an entirely new production line. We were able to use all of the PLC and SCADA templates from the prior projects with Blommer to speed up development and deployment time. The project used Ignition, Siemens S7-1500 PLCs and all the previous automation upgrades.
Malco Tools needed an automated solution to increase their production capacity and automate their process. Using Corso Systems’ PLC Programming and expertise as a Premier Integrator for Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform we met their needs giving them the tools they needed to run their brazing furnaces and more than double production capacity.
AriensCo worked with Corso Systems to automate data collection and create a real-time OEE engine for analysis from the plant level all the way down to each individual work center.
The solution was built using Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform, with Perspective providing mobile visualization of their data in real-time, and the Sepasoft OEE Module for OEE and production scheduling functionality.
Corso Systems worked with Blommer Chocolate to upgrade their production line. Instead of individual machines each with a separate legacy PLC and HMI, they now have a fully integrated Ignition SCADA system with Siemens S7-1500 PLCs.
Corso Systems worked with San Bernadino County to implement a SCADA system for their San Timeteo landfill. The SCADA system was built using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and their Perspective Module for Mobile device access. 3D Cameras and Drones were also used to build a digital twin model of the landfill equipment accessible in the HMI.
The 10 Torr Distillery and Brewery needed an automated solution to control their process. Using Corso Systems’ PLC Programming and expertise as a Premier Integrator for Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform with the Perspective Module, we met their need and gave them the tools they needed to control a complex process from anywhere in their facility.
Corso Systems worked with cement manufacturing facility to implement a process historian and data visualization tools for its R&D plant. We completed the work on-site, working directly with the facility personnel to specify the data to be stored in the process historian.
Corso Systems implemented PLC control and an HMI for a energy bar production line with previously manually controlled equipment. Individual machine controls were replaced with an HMI screen to set the desired speed setpoint on all machines with one button press. This project was the first step towards a fully integrated SCADA solution.
