Corso Systems is a Premier Ignition Integrator
Choose Corso Systems and Ignition
Alex Marcy, Corso Systems’ founder, started working with Inductive Automation in 2009 on the product that would become Ignition, FactorySQL. Since then, we have deployed every major Ignition version starting with Ignition 7.3 through the most current release.
Corso Systems specializes in using the Ignition software platform to implement web-based HMI, SCADA, and MES Solutions in a variety of Industries. We have implemented Ignition in manufacturing facilities in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, automotive, pet food, consumer goods, electronics, and steel/metals industries as well as in water/wastewater treatment, utilities, and renewable energy systems.
Corso Systems became an official Ignition Integrator in 2012 after deciding to go all in on Ignition for our SCADA and business system integrations. We met the requirements for Premier Integrator status in 2017, after every employee earned their Ignition Core and Gold Certifications. Premier Integrator status is the highest level of certification that Ignition partners can achieve, and we have maintained our Premier Integrator status since earning it. This gives us access to the best resources at Inductive Automation, including technical support and sales.
We shared our story on the Inductive Conversations Podcast, and have participated on numerous panels. We have also given many technical talks at the Ignition Community Conference (ICC). Additionally, Corso Systems has won Firebrand Awards, and we are in the ICC Discover Gallery.
We were the first company to release a resource on the Ignition Exchange when it was released at ICC 2019, and our Geofence resource was the first featured Ignition Exchange resource.
Ignition is a powerful tool for any organization you can use to do what you do better.
Our Ignition Integrations

Ignition For SCADA Projects and Applications
Inductive Automation’s Ignition is a software development platform commonly used for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) projects at manufacturing facilities. It connects plant floor equipment, databases, and other business systems (ERP, CRM, Shipping and more). Ignition allows operators to run the process itself—while it collects data about the products and each step of the process. It can alert operators and process staff of alarms in real-time. Simply put, Ignition provides full visibility into every aspect of a manufacturing operation.
Ignition is optimal for creating operator-friendly interfaces and HMIs.
Ignition has the backend functionality for integrating almost any type of software or data source imaginable—which can simplify and optimize the flow of information through an entire organization.
Inductive Automation’s Unlimited Licensing Model for Ignition has taken the manufacturing world by storm.
Ignition’s Perspective Module allows us to create a truly web-based SCADA system accessible on any device. Ignition was the first software development platform with this functionality.
Ignition has led the manufacturing industry’s Digital Transformation through their work with Cirrus Link to integrate MQTT protocols.
Ignition was one of the first SCADA platforms to support OPC-UA when the manufacturing world started taking advantage of ethernet technology in the early 2010s.
Ignition simplifies communicating with databases to store and manage large amounts of data in real-time. It reduces development overhead for getting complex process data into databases with its Tag Historian and SQL Bridge Modules.
The Ignition platform also exposes all of its functionality through a fully featured API making it easy to integrate with any other software platforms on the market.
Finally, Ignition takes security very seriously. It’s the first SCADA solution on the market which allows you to use Identity Providers to connect any user source. This allows for single sign on (SSO) from any systems supporting OpenID or SAML, in addition to their own internal source and Active Directory, one of the most common authentication sources in the business world.
Improve Your Process and Productivity With Ignition
Are you currently paying a high price for SCADA licenses and subscriptions?
Is it difficult to get the information you need to make decisions about your process?
Do you want more control over your process and technology without giving up your intellectual property?
Are you using outdated, inefficient, or maybe even repurposing spreadsheet software to try and cobble together a SCADA system from scratch?
Ignition can help you solve these problems and more.
Their unlimited licensing model along with easy and powerful database integrations let you display all of the information you want to anyone who needs it.
Ignition is a development platform you can use to integrate with anything you want without giving up any of your secret sauce, while giving you powerful and easy to use tools to help wrap your head around even the most complex process control systems out there.
