Who is Corso Systems?
Corso Systems is the champion for American Manufacturing Companies who need to modernize, automate, and secure their business operations and manufacturing processes without interruption.
We are manufacturing experts who believe in consistency, reliability, and long-term partnerships. While many integrators outsource development or rotate different teams through your facility, Corso Systems assigns dedicated team members who become experts in your specific processes and the language of your company.
When you call us, you get the same familiar voices who understand your history and goals, not someone in a call center reading through a script.
Our approach combines deep technical expertise with a commitment to being physically present when you need us. We're available when production issues arise, and we’re not limited by time zones or travel restrictions. We believe American manufacturers deserve partners who are as invested in their success as they are.
From day one, we've built an inclusive and diverse team that doesn't fit the typical mold. By bringing together people who aren't cut from the same cloth, we solve problems in unique and innovative ways, allowing us to do more with less and deliver solutions that larger firms often miss.
This breadth of perspective helps us increase your efficiency and profitability with practical, implementable solutions focused on getting you results as fast as possible.
We're not here for one-off projects. We're building relationships that last for years, which is why our clients keep working with us long after an initial implementation.

Customers Who Trust Corso Systems
What Our Customers Say About Us
Focus Areas
Automation
Our approach to automation removes error and confusion from your process, while retaining the human elements of what makes your company thrive.
Many small to medium sized manufacturing companies have a lot of manual processes. Both in terms of assembly and production of their goods, and paper-based processes for tracking production.
Working with your team we identify areas of improvement where we can automate hardware and process control systems, as well as optimize the flow of information to automatically collect production data so you know what is going on in your facility at every point in time. This includes moving paper-based data collection to automated collection where possible, and forms your operators can fill out as easily as possible where user input is required. This information will then be immediately available to everyone who needs it across your organization.
We have extensive experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and the various hardware used in manufacturing operations and will help you plan out and implement the best approach to automating your operations, work with vendors and OEMs as needed, and suggest trusted options for hardware suppliers when necessary.
Integration and Connectivity
As a systems integrator one of the main focus areas at Corso Systems is integration. With modern technology integrating various systems together removes islands of understanding from your process giving your team the data and information they need to make the best decisions possible.
This can be as simple as collecting data from a PLC to store in a process historian, or more complex like tying together multiple business systems and databases building a single tool you can use to understand and run your entire operation.
We leverage our expertise and experience across industries to minimize the amount of time and effort required to integrate your systems, and work with your team to determine the best approaches to meet the needs of operations and your stakeholders.
Integrated systems require connectivity, typically over OT and IT networks. The entire Corso Systems team goes through regular best-in-class networking training and can help you identify and implement the best approach to tie all of your systems together.
Visualization
Our approach to visualization is giving you well-designed, modern interfaces your team can use to do their jobs more effectively across your entire company.
While you can use Excel and dated technology systems to manage data across your organization it is not always the most user friendly tool for the job. We leverage our user experience, user interface, and graphic design experience to build you the right tool for the job.
This means we will work with your team to build tools displaying information in an easy to interpret manner using dashboards, trends, schedules and reports. We will build your operators the tools they need to run your process efficiently and immediately track down any process anomalies or alarms so they can get production back on track as quickly as possible.
When data entry is required we keep things as simple as possible, using data from your underlying systems when available to reduce the amount of typing an operator needs to do on the plant floor reducing input errors and increasing standardization across the organization.
Tools for production managers and C-Suite folks will be designed with their specific needs in mind giving them access to the data they need to see at a glance with the ability to drill down into detailed data as needed.
Our visual and user experience design philosophy extends across the entire organization, using standardized branding, logos, colors, fonts, etc. to give your team a familiar look and feel at every level. If you have design standards we will follow those, extending as necessary for each use case, and can develop them as needed if you don’t.
Cybersecurity
As our world becomes increasingly connected it is vitally important to ensure your systems are as secure as possible.
We find many companies adopt the approach of “IT installed a firewall on the process equipment and they handle it from there.” While this is better than doing nothing, there are many industry best practices and tools available specifically for operational technology. We work with our customers to determine their current Cybersecurity infrastructure, then plan out and implement the path to a more secure future.
On top of our ongoing network training, we also focus heavily on learning the latest trends and technologies in Cybersecurity adding to our experience with best practices and foundational approaches across the industry.
We also help our customers come up with automated backup strategies for all of their systems so minimal downtime and data loss will be the norm if something does go wrong from a Cybersecurity perspective.
In addition to hardware and software security for your systems, our approach includes training your team to adopt a security first mindset to limit your exposure to common phishing attacks.
Education and Training
Education is wrapped up in our Core Values. One of the key traits we look for in every employee is the desire and ability to learn.
Industry standards and best practices change over time and we work diligently to keep on top of the shifting landscape so we can provide our customers the best solutions possible right now and a solid foundation to grow in the future.
Not only do we focus on training our team on how to work on increasingly complex projects across all our areas of focus, we work with your team to educate them on everything we implement.
This can be as simple as operator training on how to use the process control systems we build, and as complex as working with maintenance and IT staff on how to maintain your systems internally.
We never lock down information, expertise, or our code, and give every customer the training and education they need to manage as much of the system as desired. In some cases we are effectively the Process Controls team for our customers, managing all aspects of the system, and in other cases the customer manages day to day operations and only calls us in for tech support or new projects. Wherever you lie on that spectrum we work with your team to train them on everything they need to know.
Where possible we include operations manuals, videos, and other documentation right where people need it in the system making it as easy as possible for anyone to get up to speed on any technology you use.
Modernization
Many manufacturing technology systems are 10-20 years old and have been running fine since they were commissioned. At some point things will break down and you will need to make costly upgrades. By planning out a modernization approach before things break you can reduce the amount of time, effort, and costs involved in upgrading your systems.
When vendors get bought out by other companies and licensing costs change, or it is time to upgrade hardware at or beyond the end of life and spare parts are difficult to come by, we leverage our experience across all industries to make the modernization process as painless as possible.
This can be anywhere in the entire technology stack from upgrading old PLC equipment to modern platforms with as little downtime as possible, migrating SCADA systems to modern equivalents, or upgrading other operational and business technologies.
Our approach to modernization is to bring as much data and information over as possible so you don’t lose the value of your historical data, and keep your user interfaces similar to what your people are used to while leveraging modern design and development approaches to reduce maintenance costs over the life of the system.
Where possible we have built tools to automate as much of the modernization process as possible, reducing the time involved in migrating systems, the amount of error inherent in a manual conversion process, and increasing the ability to test and validate everything before it is deployed into production.
A proactive modernization approach will result in less downtime, overall cost, and headaches compared to waiting until you are forced to upgrade because you can’t get parts, download software, or get in contact with whoever installed things originally.
Customer Support and Service
Our customer support and service approach is built on the following principles:
Consistency and Reliability - We learn how to speak your company’s internal language and partner you with the same team members across your projects. This approach combines our technical expertise with your team’s deep understanding of your business and provides maximum impact.
Local Expertise and Accessibility - Our team is fully remote across the US, so we can be available on-site any time we are needed. Our experience as a distributed team helps us overcome any communication barriers or time zone challenges with our customers.
Long-term, High Trust, Collaborative Relationships - Our goal is always to build a long lasting, collaborative relationship with our customers built on trust. We start with a small project to learn about your company’s operations, how we all work together, and grow into more areas of your business over time. We never force you to work with us in any capacity by locking down our code or knowledge. We rely on your expertise to inform our overall strategy, collaborating with your team to make sure our solutions meet your needs, work for your people, and get you the results you need.
Peace of Mind - We want everyone involved in our projects to be able to sleep at night knowing that everything was implemented correctly, tested, and running smoothly before we give you the keys. If something does break, we are always available for immediate help and support.
Education and Training - We stay on top of new technology trends so you don’t have to. The primary trait we look for in everyone at Corso Systems is a desire and ability to learn. This applies not only to the technical side of things, also to learning about the nuances and unique aspects of your company and how we can help you get to where you want to go. This approach allows us to provide creative and novel solutions to real-world obstacles in the manufacturing world.
The Corso Systems Process
We have found the most successful approach to projects follows a common path.
Starting with a small project accomplishes a lot:
It allows us to quickly deliver a project you need without a huge upfront cost.
Next it lets our people get to know one another without the pressure of a year long endeavor before you will see results. This helps us build relationships with your team, demonstrate our capabilities, design approach, and touch on the various areas of focus involved in your project.
Finally, it gives us time to learn your language, the ins and outs of your company and processes, and how you operate. From there we can plan out the next phases of the project with a much clearer understanding from everyone involved.
This approach is the origin of our Power Packs
We will learn and understand your culture:
By working together on the first phase, we start to understand your company culture and how to effectively operate as a member of the team.
Automation and integration projects can easily ruffle a lot of feathers:
Operators may worry that automation will replace their jobs.
IT departments will likely be wary of an integrator who makes suggestions about the network, IT might also be reluctant to give an unknown integrator access to various systems.
Production management can become frustrated about suggestions about how things could be done in a different way to improve efficiency
The C-suite will want to make sure there is a definitive ROI on everything we touch.
By understanding your culture, communication styles, and what your people are most concerned about, we can adapt our communication styles to demonstrate we are on the same team and are here to help make improvements across the board for your team while leaving our egos at the door.
Expand integrations to the next level:
After completing the first project together, we will work with your team to plan out the next round of integrations that will have a strong impact on your operations.
By understanding your culture, we can message the project plan across the entire company in a way everyone can be on board with, address any concerns anyone has, and leave plenty of room for questions and discussion about the best path forward.
Training your team:
As we progress with more integrations, we have a great opportunity to train your team on how to use the tools, as well as get feedback on how to improve the tools even more. This allows everyone to contribute to continuous improvement as we continue to work together.
We can keep improving solutions we built in the past as we get more data and information from your team, and as everyone becomes more familiar with the possibilities.
A strong relationship with your people means that they can share their feedback with us, and we can continue making additional improvements.
Building and implementing a roadmap for the future:
If we are doing our job correctly, eventually we will work ourselves out of a job. Our goal is to deliver the solutions you need to run your business most effectively.
After we have completed a few projects with your team, we will plan out the future roadmap. In some cases this might be supporting what we have built until some future point in time, in other cases planning out more integrations and technology deployments across the company.
We will always work with your team to determine the best path forward, and support everything we have built together along the way.
