Automated Brazing Furnaces for Malco Tools
Malco Tools needed an automated solution to increase their production capacity and automate their process. Using Corso Systems’ PLC Programming and expertise as a Premier Integrator for Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform we met their needs giving them the tools they needed to run their brazing furnaces and more than double production capacity.
Ignition SCADA & OEE for AriensCo
AriensCo worked with Corso Systems to automate data collection and create a real-time OEE engine for analysis from the plant level all the way down to each individual work center.
The solution was built using Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform, with Perspective providing mobile visualization of their data in real-time, and the Sepasoft OEE Module for OEE and production scheduling functionality.
Blommer Chocolate Automation Upgrades
Corso Systems worked with Blommer Chocolate to upgrade their production line. Instead of individual machines each with a separate legacy PLC and HMI, they now have a fully integrated Ignition SCADA system with Siemens S7-1500 PLCs.
Landfill Monitoring System with Mobile and Virtual Reality
Corso Systems worked with San Bernadino County to implement a SCADA system for their San Timeteo landfill. The SCADA system was built using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and their Perspective Module for Mobile device access. 3D Cameras and Drones were also used to build a digital twin model of the landfill equipment accessible in the HMI.
Distillery and Brewery Automation with Ignition
The 10 Torr Distillery and Brewery needed an automated solution to control their process. Using Corso Systems’ PLC Programming and expertise as a Premier Integrator for Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform with the Perspective Module, we met their need and gave them the tools they needed to control a complex process from anywhere in their facility.
Rockwell Process Analytics for Cement Manufacturing Facility
Corso Systems worked with cement manufacturing facility to implement a process historian and data visualization tools for its R&D plant. We completed the work on-site, working directly with the facility personnel to specify the data to be stored in the process historian.
Conveyor Speed Sync for an Energy Bar Packaging Facility
Corso Systems implemented PLC control and an HMI for a energy bar production line with previously manually controlled equipment. Individual machine controls were replaced with an HMI screen to set the desired speed setpoint on all machines with one button press. This project was the first step towards a fully integrated SCADA solution.
Custom Data Monitoring Website for Solar Facility Commissioning
Corso Systems built a web-based SCADA solution for a solar power generation company. The system included integrating PLCs and switchgear hardware using Modbus, a Red Lion Datastation Plus acting as a process historian, and an ASP.NET front-end to aggregate data from multiple solar fields into one user interface.
SCADA System for Multiple Remote Solar Sites
Corso Systems worked with a leader in solar power generation to develop a SCADA system standard built on Wonderware's Archestra platform and an OSI PI Historian. This SCADA Standard reduced deployment and commissioning time for new facilities by 85% and was deployed to over 500MW of solar power within one year.
Process Change Management System for Mining
Corso Systems worked with a diatomaceous earth processing facility to develop a centralized process change management system. We based the requirements on their existing Excel spreadsheet system. We designed a robust and automatic approvals process for proposed changes.
Business System Integration, Process Control, and Analytics for Oil and Gas Refinery
Corso Systems worked with Jaxon Energy to implement a process control and information system for its Vicksburg, MS refinery. Siemens WinCC Open Architecture platform was the SCADA system along with Siemens S7-1200 PLCs. Jaxon Energy now has more power and flexibility than they were able to achieve on any of their existing systems to date, at a much lower cost.
