Corso Shorts Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk AssetCentre

Welcome to Corso Shorts.

In this series, we’re going to show you a cool piece of software or hardware that we’ve found. And, we’re going to do it quickly. Like less than 3 minutes quickly. So if you’re ready to learn about some cool, new technology, stay tuned.

This time around, we’re going to talk about Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk AssetCentre, yes spelled the European way.

There are some really interesting features that AssetCentre offers. A couple that we want to point out.

  • Track detailed users’ actions
  • Provide automatic backup and compare operations on supported devices
  • Add backup and compare plug-ins for 3rd party vendor devices

The tracking of detailed user actions is a nice touch, especially in the day and age we live in, where you always want to know what’s happening.

The automatic backup is a major selling point for many facilities. Especially Rockwell Automation facilities.

Setting this apart is the fact that we can backup and compare third party devices. So your Siemens, your FANUC and KUKA robotic arms, your other machinery. All of this can be included in the automatic backups.

Want More?

There is a ton of information in here and this is just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve had conversations with people who just do AssetCentre for Rockwell, and they are really sharp people!

If you’re ready to talk about adding AssetCentre to your facility, please reach out, we’d love to help you. There are some opportunities for starting with pilot programs for your most sensitive equipment. Then we can expand to the rest of your facility as you see fit.

If you’re looking for more automation and backup than what this provides, please ask us about Corso Care. We’d be happy to make sure that you’re completely protected.
